Is there a "Boxed set" available? Do the "sequels" include the original game (I wouldn't want to buy both Fate and Fate: Undiscovered Realms and find one was unnecessary)? It is a fun game, though it has some broken mechanics.

I've looked at WildTangent's download service, and found I would rather play the game from the disc (it looks like I can only "rent" the game from WT, using their silly "WildCoins" thing). I was like "WTF! Why wasn't this a superhyped selling point?". Then someone tells me "No Way, dude! It's made by some of the guys that were on the Diablo II team!". When I first saw it, after it'd been first announce, I thought it was just another one of those abysmal indie hack 'n slash games like the ones Meridian4 had been churning out (Space Hack was disappointing, in that "could have been more" way). I've also noticed that there are what are either sequels or expansion packs to the game. They made a games plugin for Winamp, which I played with for a while, and then I never saw anything from them again (maybe because I never looked).Īnyway, I'm more interested in the "Randomly generated dungeon" style of play that Fate offers, along with the loot.
